My name is Sofia Christine, but you can call me SC. I’m a musician, sound designer, and student at the University of Michigan. I’m graduating this December with a BS in Computer Science with a minor in German and a BFA in Jazz Studies.

I’m particularly interested in composition and arrangement, particularly for jazz and commercial music. A few of my myriad influences are J.S. Bach, Slide Hampton, Stan Kenton, Soyo Oka, Tim Follin, David Wise, and Jake Kaufman.

Video game music has fascinated me since I was little - that’s why I started my YouTube channel, Sound Bytes. My aim is to anaylze video game music through every lens possible. Music theory, music history, instrumentation, sound selection - nothing is off-limits.
